Bie: lost in a big city…

“Behind the Painting”  press conference, Oct 2013

Bie admitted it took him a longest time to make a decision…

“At the beginning I didn’t know I was offered the part. Once I found out, I took the longest time to decide whether to go or not to go… almost a year.  My own job was quite heavy already. In addition, my English was quite weak. Then, what about singing and dancing… will I be able to do it?… so many things to sort out.  At the same time, I started to put myself into training.”

“I took more lessons on singing, dancing and language. When I thought, I did ok… I went to perform in front of them and got their comments. I came home, worked on my weak points and continued with my lessons. I still couldn’t decide. I consulted many people including my parents.  In term of language, I have to get better. At the moment, I have problems with the pronunciation.  To be honest, I didn’t take my English classes seriously when I was in school.”

Bie admitted that there were times when he felt so discouraged and disheartened. He even walked around the street of NY with tears in his eyes.

Dishearten, yes many times specially during my decision making period. November of last year (Nov 2012) was the worst.
At that time, I didn’t make decision, yet. I went for a tryout to see how things were done. That time I knew it already that I was given a part and they were waiting for my answer.

Nopporn (08)

Before I came to a decision, I was so discouraged and disheartened.

In NY, it felt like I was alone and all by myself. I had to start everything new. I had to look for new friends. specially people around my age. People older than me didn’t seem to understand.  I couldn’t go anywhere, didn’t know where to go. Sure, I vacationed there before but it was still confusing.

I was alone… lost in a big world. You can picture a scene on an MV… with me walking around the street of NY with tears in my eyes… Yes, that kind of scene happened in real life, my life.

When the real job started, it was quite tough.. a lot tougher than I first thought.  Everything has to be right on time.  You cannot be late. I was so stress out and there was so much pressure. In addition, I was not familiar with that type of lyric…  My tongue tied together when I spoke the words. When the whole room started to sing… I was “oh-no… I am dead!”…

I can sing like them now… but not as good, yet…

That was Oct 2013…

this is now…

NOTE:  Bie will fly to NY very soon for a Lab Presentation… please join me and others to wish him well or send him words of support and encouragement… type your message below and we will get it to him. Thanks…

I understand how you feel dear Bie; I had the same hard time to when I come to Germany with my hubby. I was only 19 year old, and without my big family, not familiar with nothing. I feel very alone and cried a lot. But we’ll have to survive and endure.
You’re not the only one that suffered dear Bie, that makes you exactly the same human being how we are. Fighting, you’re not alone, I’ll be ever on your side.

    Hi Bie,

This is the 1st time I am writing a note to you, its kinda surreal…

I listened to the short youtube clip posted here where you sang a few lines from the song “A Work of Art”. I would describe it with 2 words “simply beautiful”. To be able to sing in a language that is not your 1st language, with such clear pronunciation, within a short span of a few months, is amazing already. I believe practice makes perfect and from what I have read about you, you are always practicing, learning and perfecting your skills, so just keep t up and everything will fall into place.

I guess I will not get a chance to see your live performance in NY….boardway…but my thoughts will always be with you and I will always be looking out for new updates about your next achievement.

Best of luck and take care always!

    Hello Bie,

Your dreams are almost coming true!!!
You just have to be a lot of confident for youself,
and you will do them perfectly. You are doing an
excellent job already. We are human and mistake
can be happen, but mistake can be acceptable.
Because humans are not perfect all the time, we
learn from mistakes to live better each day. I will
like to wish you the best of good luck for your
performance. You are a “Super Star” you will do great!!!

I am happy to learn that Bie is taking up lessons to improve his English language. After his performance in NY, I am sure he will be able to speak this language fluently. Then we can converse with Bie in English as well (for those of us who do not speak Thai).

Stay positive and strong. Whenever you are feeling down and weary, just remember you have all of us behind you. You won’t fall.

Do take care of your health!!

Let me start by sharing a poem with you…

The Road not Taken by Robert Frost

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood
and sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveller, long I stood
and looked down one as far as I could
    to where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
and having perhaps the better claim
    because it was grassy and wanted wear;
though as for that, the passing there
had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
in leaves no feet had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
    Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I —
I took the one less travelled by,
and that has made all the difference

Bie, you took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference… This is your journey, your story, your dream.. Capture it, photograph it, draw it, make a painting of if, but most of all LIVE IT… I wish you all the best on this journey, whether you succeed or fall.. we, your FANS, will always be by your side. Lubsiab…

P’Bie , i have some words for you after i had read the article about you . First , i think all of us have to face to the difficult phase at least once in life . And like your fans did say we are human and we’ve already known that one of the reasons for low male life expectancy ( longevity) than women because they are afraid to cry . Therefore , i THINK you should cry whenever you want . However , i hope you never cry because that is the time you feel best and receive all the best things in your life and i wish all the bad things go away from your life like you wished everyone and your fans before . Next , In MY opinion ,Praying Buddha is important part i often do to decrease my inmost feelings or sad when i face to difficult phase or writing all my thought in notebook is a good way to decrease my sad . Because nobody can solve my problems but me . Then , i face to it and test my self by asking some questions such as why i want to perfom it ; do i still have passion to follow it , something like that . Last , i divide it into severals parts to solve .
P’Bie , i THINK that is your opportunities . Like i did say , to your fans and i , you always have opportunites and time to do it . We believe you . You’ve already known that your family , your children(in case they grew up) , your fans and your someone always love you , by your side and wait for you products forever . Fighting , P’Bie .
