This year, Bie invited fans to join him and make merit at a temple. Majority of fans were from Thailand, some were from Vietnam, China and Hong Kong.
The event started off the day with Buddhist ritual, ceremony…They actually went to 3 different temples to make offerings to the monk.
After the offerings, Bie took about 200 fans to lunch at a nearby eating place. After lunch, they released 5,000 fishes back to the river and fans presented him with a huge birthday cake with a poem written on the cake.
followed by the releasing of fish back to the river… 5,000 fishes were released.
After lunch, fans presented Bie with a huge-huge birthday cake… decorated with jasmine flowers (in good memory of po Dok Mali from Khu Kam)
Translated birthday poem:
May all the good blessing in this world… come into being and give bless to Bie…
May Bie be happy every day and every night… happiness always and forever
May you always be jolly, happy and cheerful…
May you be the center of everyone’s love… now and forever
May you be the love of fans-clubs who will always send you their love, support and encouragement in good time or in bad time.
We will always be with you and will never leave you…
Even though you are far away, we will be here await your return
Always be waiting & forever love…
Have a Happy Birthday, today and always
Rak kong chun nun keu ter (My/ our love is you…)

(P.S. not word for word translation. Took a shot at it. Sorry if I missed anything. The poem was quite difficult to read and translate)
caption: “It’s my birthday! my fans and I came to release fish into the river! thanks, everyone so much 🙂 I promise to grow older every year and to be everyone’s “GumBie”. Thanks again from my liver (if I said from my heart, it would not be in trend) #grr…! “
Bie talked to reporters after the ceremony. Bie said he doesn’t want anything for his birthday. He has everything he needs. Since he got so much from society… it might be time for him to give back.
Bie… “I have been working in the entertaining industry for 8 years now. I received so much. It’s time for me to give back to society… by helping to do some charitable works… i.e. Buddhist religion, etc… I’ll be happy to speak for any charitable organizations.”
