Even though Bie is in Thailand, he never stop working on the WATERFALL project. Bie continues to train hard and consistently sends progress reports and audio recording of his singing to the US production team for their review, comment and feedback. WATERFALL the musical is scheduled to premiere on May 29, 2015 at the Pasadena Playhouse in Los Angeles, CA.
How Bie prepares for Waterfall the musical:
Bie: “Even though, I am here in Thailand I continue to send my progress report including audio recording of my singing to the production team in US on consistent basis, specially when there are changes made to the script.”
Why did they change the name from Behind the Painting to WATERFALL?
Bie: “if I understand it correctly, the word behind means… at the rear of, hidden or trailing. The word WATERFALL is very clear. It’s right there for people to see, nothing is hidden behind.”
What kind of feedback did you receive from the US production team?
Bie: “the Americans are very frank and go right to the point with their comments. When they commented on my singing, they would say… “your energy dropped right here. Don’t drag your voice over there. Wrong words used here. Wrong grammar. Your emotion is off on this part, etc…”
I have to stay fit, take good care of my body, stay healthy and train very hard. When it’s time for me to perform, I want to be able to say “I can do this. I can sing. This is easy”.
Jut Rak – Bie plans to finish filming Jut Rak by the end of March. He also wants a little break before he has to fly to LA for a big rehearsal in April.
